The Archer is a Charleston restaurant, opened in August of 2024 by the same team behind Berkeley’s. An upscale take on the classic American tavern, The Archer is on path to becoming a neighborhood staple.

Owners Marc and Liz Hudacsko work hard to ensure that The Archer feels like a welcome stomping ground for all guests. From this goal came the idea for the below project, “Icebreakers”.
A small pineapple-shaped container balanced on the bathroom counter is home to small paper slips with affirmations, fun facts, icebreakers, and cheesy jokes. Launched in September, these slips of paper have quickly become a staple at the restaurant, with returning guests heading straight to the back for their icebreakers. Since then we have introduced seasonal icebreakers into the rotation.
